CoinPoker Game Interruption and Refund Policy

In the event of an unexpected site-wide interruption or unplanned service outage, player reimbursements will be issued in accordance with the policy outlined below.

Refunds are generally processed within 72 business hours following full service restoration, with processing times subject to variation based on the extent of review required. Any other disruptions to gameplay arising from player activity or external factors will be reviewed and resolved at CoinPoker’s sole discretion.

Cash Games

For cash games, any hand in progress will be rolled back, and each player’s chip stack will be returned to the amount held at the start of the hand.

Tournaments

Tournament refunds are determined based on the status of the tournament at the time of disruption, as follows:

  1. If the tournament has not started, CoinPoker shall refund all buy-ins and fees to all registered players.
  2. If a tournament has started and late registration remains open, the tournament will be cancelled and all remaining players will receive a refund of their entry fee and any applicable bounty. The player-generated prize pool will be distributed among the remaining players using an Independent Chip Model (ICM) calculation based on chip stacks at the time of cancellation. Any advertised guaranteed prize pool will not apply unless it has already been fully met through player registrations.
  3. If a tournament has started, late registration has closed, and the tournament has not yet reached the paid places, all remaining players will receive a refund of their entry fee and any applicable bounty. The guaranteed prize pool will be distributed among the remaining players using an Independent Chip Model (ICM) calculation based on chip stacks at the time of cancellation.
  4. If a tournament has reached the paid places, including situations where the final table has been formed, the tournament will be cancelled and all remaining players will receive a refund of their entry fee and any applicable bounty. The guaranteed prize pool will be distributed among the remaining players using an Independent Chip Model (ICM) calculation based on chip stacks at the time of cancellation.

When assessing tournament refunds, CoinPoker will determine the point at which the disruption occurred and use the tournament status and chip positions immediately prior to that point as the basis for all refund calculations. As interruptions may not affect all players simultaneously, each tournament will be reviewed and settled individually. Players participating in multiple affected tournaments may therefore receive refunds at different times.
